Glenmore Woods has been invited to participate in the Lake County Forest Preserve Tree and Shrub sale 2022. Please see the Excel Spreadsheet Tree and Shrub Order Form. All the prices are estimates and include delivery. The Lake County Forest Preserve needs all orders by March 31, 2022. Payment is due at the time of delivery. Lake County Forest Preserve Trail Work
The Lake County Forest Preserve will be installing some trees and shrubs within the Middlefork Savanna trail easement parcel. The preliminary work for that started on Thursday, September 24th. There are multiple areas within Middlefork that will be planted – the delivery of plants and actual installation will begin on Monday, September 28th.
In Addition, there have been some contractors (hired by North Shore Sanitary District) working on the sewer line that parallels the trail a little further south of Glenmore Woods that is ongoing.
