Glenmore Woods HOA has partnered with JMR Landscaping for the 2026 landscaping season. JMR will provide landscape maintenance services for the community throughout the season, including spring cleanup, weekly lawn maintenance, bed care, pruning, fertilization, and fall cleanup.
As with prior landscaping arrangements, homeowners may opt out of services performed by JMR. Additional details regarding scheduling and opt-out procedures will be communicated separately.
Scheduled Landscaping Services
JMR’s services are structured around seasonal and recurring maintenance to support the health, appearance, and upkeep of Glenmore Woods landscaping throughout the season.
- Spring Cleanup
- Performed during the initial weeks of the season, typically beginning in late March or early April.
- Landscape beds and turf areas are cleaned and cleared of debris.
- Perennials and ornamental grasses are cut back as appropriate.
- Hydrangeas are pruned, along with dead branches on deciduous and evergreen shrubs.
- Planting beds and tree rings are edged for definition and a neat appearance.
- Pre-emergent weed control is applied to beds and tree rings.
- A slow-release fertilizer is applied to planting beds.
- Grass may be mowed if needed, and paved surfaces are cleared.
- Weekly Lawn Maintenance
- Turf is mowed weekly during the regular maintenance season.
- Grass clippings are bagged and removed.
- Areas around obstacles and hard surfaces are trimmed.
- Debris is blown off paved surfaces such as curbs, driveways, and walks.
- Wet areas may be skipped when necessary to avoid turf damage.
- Bed Maintenance
- Landscape beds and tree rings are maintained on a rotating basis during the season.
- Services include spot weeding and cultivation.
- Herbaceous plants may be deadheaded and pruned as needed.
- Herbicide may be applied as needed for weed control in open beds.
- Pruning
- Pruning is performed during the season, with full pruning and follow-up spot pruning.
- Pruning is based on plant type and seasonal timing to support flowering, plant vigor, and a clean appearance.
- Trees in landscaped areas may be pruned for pedestrian and vehicular clearance.
- Dead and damaged branches reachable from the ground may be removed.
- Trees in natural areas are excluded.
- Fertilization
- Turf applications are included during the season.
- These treatments include pre-emergent and post-emergent applications for crabgrass and broadleaf weed control.
- Fall Cleanup
- Fall cleanup is provided toward the end of the season, typically in November.
- Services include leaf and debris removal, annual flower removal, cutting back perennials, final mowing, and clearing paved surfaces.
- Some ornamental grasses and select plants may be left for winter interest unless otherwise requested by the HOA.
Optional and Additional Services
- Mulch installation may be performed as part of the seasonal landscape program.
- Additional services are available separately, including landscape enhancements, planting replacements, masonry and paving work, and tree or plant healthcare services.
- Additional cleanup or enhancement work beyond the standard contract scope may be arranged as needed.
Service Notes
- Edging: The JMR contract includes edging of planting beds and tree rings as part of the spring cleanup. Ongoing edging during the season is not listed as a separate recurring service.
- Grass Clippings and Debris: Weekly lawn maintenance includes bagging and removal of clippings, trimming around obstacles and hard surfaces, and blowing debris off paved surfaces.
- Wet Conditions: Wet areas may be skipped during mowing visits to help avoid turf damage.
- Tree Work: Tree pruning under the contract is limited to landscaped areas and to branches reachable from the ground. Trees in natural areas are not included.
- Opt-Outs: Homeowners may opt out of services performed by JMR, consistent with prior practice. More information on opt-out procedures will be shared separately.
