Some of you may be wondering how the west pillar at the entrance of our subdivision was repaired, as it was leaning to the west.
A first attempt at repairing the pillar by mudjacking it but that did not hold as the concrete oozed away from the base of the pillar.
The successful approach to repairing the pillar involved inserting a coil type hook several feet into the ground, which now holds the base of the pillar in place. This repair was completed in December of 2005.
