Glenmore Woods residents received their 65 Gallon Recycling bins from Mundelein Disposal this week. Mundelein Disposal will collect the existing recycling bins next week. The Village of Green Oaks contracted with Mundelein Disposal based on feedback from residents for larger, cleaner bins. All of the details are outlined in the Village of Green Oaks Spring 2007 newsletter . As reported in the newsletter, the monthly rate will increase by $2.62/month based on the cost of the carts and the increased labor to utilize the carts.
As a reminder, rRecyclables shall consist of newsprint, corrugated paper, junk mail, magazines, phone books, office paper, boxboard (cereal boxes) ferrous metal cans, aluminum cans, glass containers and household rigid plastic containers #1 - #5. (But NO packing peanuts, #6 Polystyrene, or Styrofoam or film plastic. Also NO light bulbs, window glass or mirrors). Please rinse the food
containing recyclables.
