The Village of Green Oaks has been contacted about continued spraying for Mosquitoes. The Village has been spraying on Wednesday nights after dark so to not inconvenience anyone. The spraying was scheduled to stop after Labor Day, but we have requested that it be continued. The Village meeting is Wednesday September 5th, and the subject of continued mosquito abatement will be brought up in the meeting. We suggest that residents of Glenmore Woods be there if they are concerned about the Mosquito population. The village has informed us that unless other neighboring villages continue their spraying, ours will have little effect since mosquitoes travel up to twenty miles. The meeting will be 7:30pm Wednesday September 5th at the Village Hall, 2020 O’Plaine Road, Green Oaks.
